Bikram Yoga Etiquette

No mobile phones or any other belongings are to be taken into the yoga room.  All you need is your yoga mat, towel and water.

Please avoid wearing any strong perfumes or deodorants.  Showers are available should you require them before and after class.

As a beginner it is recommended that you initially practice in the back row so that you can watch the more experienced students in front of you.  The simple rule is ‘front row leads and back rows follow’.

Electrolytes…

An important consideration is the use of electrolytes.  as you practice in the hot room and sweat, not only are you releasing water from the body but you are also releasing sodium, potassium and magnesium.  These are important minerals your body needs to replace.  We sell an excellent product called Endura, which is a sports endurance and rehydration formula with magnesium.  If you are practicing Bikram yoga regularly it is highly recommended that you take Endura or other electrolyte to maintain optimal health.
